{"id":1113,"date":"2022-11-02T02:46:38","date_gmt":"2022-11-02T02:46:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hopecapetown.org\/wp-sa\/?p=1113"},"modified":"2023-06-03T13:38:42","modified_gmt":"2023-06-03T13:38:42","slug":"2012-hope-cape-town-hochschule-neu-ulm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hopecapetown.org\/de\/2012-hope-cape-town-hochschule-neu-ulm\/","title":{"rendered":"2012 HOPE Cape Town &#038; Hochschule Neu-Ulm"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"impa-title\"><strong>HOPE Cape Town &amp; Hochschule Neu-Ulm<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During a project week in Cape Town the University of the Western Cape (UWC) and Neu\u2010Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU) successfully developed an eLearning environment for Community Health Workers (CHW) of the HOPE Cape Town Association.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Senior academicians from both Universities guided students during the week in a process culminating in an \u201ceLearning Framework for HOPE\u201d. From 21\u201025 May, a delegation from HNU comprising 14 students and 4 professors, as well as 6 students and 2 professors from UWC Economic and Information Management Sciences Faculty, formed joint project groups to research prerequisites and design a mobile course framework for Community Health Workers. As a scientific basis, they created a six layered model of learning integrating the learning styles and conditions of the target group, as well as the technical and organisational circumstances. In interviews and usability tests the user\u2019s needs, learning circumstances, previous knowledge, as well as ICT skills and interaction with the content and design of the courses, were analysed.
